The Agave Rewilding Project
The Agave Rewilding Project protects endangered agave species in Jalisco and restores the ecosystems they depend on. Its work combines agave propagation, native-tree planting, agroforestry, scientific guidance, and hands-on community participation.
By moving beyond monoculture, the project creates more resilient landscapes where native plants, pollinators, wildlife, and agave can thrive together.
The initiative works with Revive Biodiversity Nursery Network, S.A.C.R.E.D., Selva Negra, and Canopea to connect conservation expertise with action in the field.
